The Oregon State Police Pendleton Forensic Laboratory is a 9,372 Square Foot facility that is 100% leased to the State of Oregon for a 20-Year Firm Term commencing in 2019, with no cancellation rights and including attractive 2% annual rent increases. The State of Oregon carries an investment grade credit rating of Aaa1 by Moody’s Investors Service, which is the second highest possible score within the Mood’s System.

As one of only five Oregon State Police (OSP) locations conducting forensic analysis, the Pendleton Forensic Laboratory is critical to the OSP mission to protect the people, wildlife, and natural resources in Oregon. The laboratory provides scientific examination of evidence for all criminal justice system partners including police departments, Sheriff’s departments, Oregon State Police offices, District Attorney’s offices, the United States Attorney for Oregon, criminal defense attorneys, and the FBI. OSP scientists collect, analyze and evaluate evidence, interpret results, and provide expert testimony concerning the full spectrum of physical evidence recovered from crime scenes, and also provide analysis in biology, chemistry, trace, toxicology, DNA, latent prints, firearms, and toolmarks, and provide related technical assistance and training in a variety of professional and academic environments. Additionally, the OSP forensic laboratory system is the only Oregon entity with access to the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS). This system and the Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) provide powerful and fast analytical support that helps scientists work efficiently and effectively to identify people involved in crimes.

The OSP Pendleton Forensic Laboratory presents a rare opportunity to acquire a new build-to-suit facility providing an essential service for local, state, and federal law enforcement operations in Oregon.
